Are you a chef, cook, cafe or Restaurant and want to be involved?
We are looking for volunteers to demonstrate there cooking abilities and skills, whilst demonstrating how easy it can be to create great Vegan Food! We are launching the Vegan Cook-along at the start of January, in line with Veganuary- to celebrate all things Vegan!
We are looking for you to share a simple recipe, using simple locally available ingredients for people to cook at home. So if you don't mind giving away a secret recipe, or something not so secret for that matter. We would love to hear from you!
BONUS: We are happy to promote any businesses or individuals that take part. We will be sharing on our largely followed facebook page, website and other media platforms including some paid promotion by us. We want to support local businesses and supermarkets as much as we can-especially during these trying times. We have researched that a Cook-along is a great way to market your skills and available menu.
Are there any limits to the recipe?
We don't ever wish to limit a chefs creativity. However, like the TV cooking channels, these cook alongs are for the amatuer home cook so there will some limitations.
The recipe must be fairly easy to demonstrate on video (live video if possible)
The recipe should aim to use ingredients people can get from there local green grocer, zero waste shop, or health food store. (Remember, we are trying to promote independent businesses so Tesco is a last case scenario).
Similar to TV cooking recipes the Video Length is fairly important to capture and retain the audience. So make sure the recipe your choosing doesn't take too long to prepare. You can always use a "here's one I made earlier" type scenario to save time.
I'm in! So whats next?
