Low Carbon Community Project – Volunteers Wanted!

by on 26/03/2010

Flower inside bulbExciting Opportunity!

Transition Stourbridge is launching its Low Carbon Community Project. We are running this in partnership with Dudley’s Climate Change Group and Marches Energy Agency (leading sustainable energy advisors).

Through this project, which runs to the end of this year, we will be showing householders affordable and practical ways of reducing their heating and fuel costs, and at the same time their CO2 emissions – which means a cleaner world for all.

The advice offered is real and practical, and will help local people save money and reduce their impact on the environment

Volunteers Wanted!

  • Do you have some spare time on your hands?
  • Are you interested in being part of this exciting new project?

If so, do get in touch for a chat. We have the resources to train eight people to carry out home energy checks. Whether you can offer an hour a week or more, your involvement will be highly valued.

This is a great opportunity for learning and contributing to the community and the environment – and it will look great on your CV too! Training will take place in late April / early May.
