Photos of Park

Photo’s from hedge planting at Vale Head Farm

About 15 volunteers planted approximately 350 trees on a sunny Saturday morning last weekend.

The hedge mix was mostly Hawthorn with a few Blackthorn, Field Maple and Spindle.

It was followed by a very nice ‘bring and share’ lunch.

Low Carbon Community Project – Volunteers Wanted!

Flower inside bulbExciting Opportunity!

Transition Stourbridge is launching its Low Carbon Community Project. We are running this in partnership with Dudley’s Climate Change Group and Marches Energy Agency (leading sustainable energy advisors).

Through this project, which runs to the end of this year, we will be showing householders affordable and practical ways of reducing their heating and fuel costs, and at the same time their CO2 emissions – which means a cleaner world for all.

The advice offered is real and practical, and will help local people save money and reduce their impact on the environment
